Types of Carbon Steel

  • Flat Carbon Steel
    Flat steel is a type of steel that is fabricated by the roll or in sheets with a range of dimensions and thickness.

  • Finished Steel Products
    Finished steel products, also known as steel made products, refer to a series of products further processed from steel, including flanges, pipe fittings, valves, steel wires, steel strands, steel gratings, etc.

    A steel coil refers to a finished steel product such as sheet or strip which has been wound or coiled after rolling. Steel coils can be classified into hot and cold-rolled types, or stainless steel coil, carbon coil, and galvanized steel.

    Steel sheets refer to a type of steel that is made into thin, flat pieces by an industrial process. Steel sheets are one of the fundamental steel forms used in the industry.
  • Steel Sections
    Steel sections are a type of strong structural steel that is rolled into shapes that are used in construction. Different steel sections are chosen for their aesthetics and structural qualities for various purposes.
  • Steel Rods
    Steel rods are steel products designed in the pattern of round bars or rod, rectangular or flat bars, square bars, hexagons, and other patterns of bar stock.
  • Hot Rolled Steel
    "Hot-rolling refers to a metalworking process in which the steel is rolled at above recrystallization temperature (usually exceeds 1000℉).
  • Cold Rolled Steel
    In essense, cold rolled steel can be regarded as hot rolled steel that has undergone further processing. The hot rolled steel is further processed in cold reduction mills.
  • Coated Steel
    Coated steel is a type of steel that was applied with an additional layer of organic or metallic materials on its surface to protect from rusting and reduce wear/tear.
