Scheduled for completion in 2027, NS Square will feature a 30,000-seat grandstand, a National Service–themed gallery, community sports facilities, and a public waterfront promenade. 1. Structural performance in coastal climate
The project is located in a high-temperature, high-humidity marine environment, requiring structural steel with stable mechanical properties and verified toughness.
Solution: H beam confirming minimum yield strength ≥355 MPa and J0 impact requirements at 0°C to support long-term load-bearing performance.
2. Overseas delivery under tight schedule
Structural steel delivery was required to align strictly with site erection sequencing to avoid disruption to critical path activities.
Solution: CUMIC coordinated mill production, quality inspection, and international logistics to ensure the H-beams were delivered in line with construction sequencing, supporting uninterrupted structural works and reducing schedule-related risks.
