Project Overview
As a trusted steel solutions provider, CUMIC is proud to contribute to one of Singapore’s Changi Airport Terminal 5 (T5). This landmark development represents a new era in aviation, innovation, and sustainable infrastructure, positioning Changi among the world’s most advanced airports. The upcoming Changi Airport Terminal 5 is part of the massive Changi East Development, covering runways, tunnels, taxiways, and supporting utilities.
In support of this transformative project, CUMIC supplied 3,014 tons of Hot Rolled Plates (HRP) S355J2 for the Changi T5 Substation, marking a top-up order for this critical facility. Once completed, Terminal 5 will be comparable in size to Terminals 1 through 3 combined, boosting the airport’s total capacity by up to 50 million passengers annually.
