Standing as your global steel solutions provider, CUMIC is proud to have supplied 770 tons of hot-rolled H-beam steel (grade S355JR) for the construction of the Vision Power Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (VSMC) new wafer fabrication plant — a landmark development in Singapore’s semiconductor industry. This major project represents a new chapter in Southeast Asia’s semiconductor manufacturing, combining advanced industry standards, large-scale infrastructure, and sustainable design.

Initial production slated for 2027, it is expected output of 300mm wafers 55,000 per month in 2029. Our contribution of the steel structure adds to the backbone of this high-tech facility — forming the core structural framework for factory halls, supporting structures, mezzanine floors or office-support buildings adjacent to the wafer fab, ensuring long-term structural integrity and safety under heavy industrial use.
